This explains what ParseAPI collects, why, and what we don’t do with it. It covers parseapi.com, the dashboard, and api.parseapi.com.

1. Short version

We collect what’s needed to run accounts, billing, and the API. We don’t sell your personal data. We don’t sell your API traffic as a marketing product.

2. What we collect

Account. Email, name if you provide one, and session info so you can sign in (magic link) and use the dashboard.

Billing. Payment and subscription details are handled by Stripe. We store plan status and related IDs so billing works — we don’t store full card numbers on our servers.

API usage. To operate the product and show you Usage / Activity, we log things like endpoint, timing, status, and related request metadata. That can include path and query parameters for a limited time. Treat sensitive values accordingly — don’t put secrets in URLs.

API keys. Keys are stored so we can authenticate requests. The full secret is shown once on create; the dashboard normally shows a prefix after that.

Support. If you email us, we keep that conversation so we can help you.

Cookies / local storage. Used for sign-in sessions and basic site preferences (for example, docs language choice). Not a cross-site ad tracker.

3. Why we collect it

4. What we don’t do

5. Processors we use

We use vendors to run the product. They only get what’s needed for their job, under their own terms and ours:

6. Retention

Account and billing records stick around while your account is active and as long as we’re required to keep them for taxes, disputes, or law. Usage / activity logs are kept for a limited operational window (on the order of weeks to a few months, not forever) and then dropped or aggregated. Support email is kept as long as it’s useful for the conversation or legal needs.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and sensible defaults for a small team shipping infrastructure. No system is perfect — if you find a security issue, email support@parseapi.com.

8. Sharing

We share data with processors listed above to run the service, or if the law requires it (subpoena, court order, valid legal process). If the business is sold or merged, account data may transfer under the same kinds of protections.

9. Your choices

You can update account details in the dashboard, revoke API keys anytime, and cancel paid plans. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, email support@parseapi.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. Some records we may need to keep for legal or billing reasons.

10. Kids

ParseAPI isn’t directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). Don’t create an account for a child.

11. International

We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you use the service from elsewhere, you’re sending data across borders to us and those providers.

12. Changes

We’ll update this page when the policy changes and bump the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
