These terms cover your use of ParseAPI (the website, dashboard, and APIs at parseapi.com and api.parseapi.com). By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to them. If you don’t, don’t use the service.
ParseAPI provides utility APIs — things like IP lookup, postal lookup, email checks, user-agent parsing, and geo metadata. Responses are JSON. We aim for very low latency, but availability and speed are not guaranteed except where a separate written agreement says otherwise.
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping API keys secret. Don’t put keys in public repos or client-side apps. If a key leaks, revoke it in the dashboard and create a new one. Activity under your keys is your responsibility.

Plans include a monthly call volume and, on paid tiers, richer data via ?expand=true. Current pricing is on the pricing page.
We don’t hard-cut production traffic without warning just to “protect the meter.” If you go past your included volume, overages may apply. We’ll notify you as you approach your included amount when we can. You’re responsible for monitoring usage in the dashboard.
Paid subscriptions renew until you cancel. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we say otherwise in writing. Taxes may apply.
You keep ownership of content you submit (account details, keys you create, etc.). You grant us permission to process what’s needed to run the service — auth, billing, support, and operating the API.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Please read it.
ParseAPI, the site, branding, and underlying systems are ours (or our licensors’). These terms don’t transfer ownership to you. You get a limited right to use the API as documented while your account is in good standing.
We use vendors for things like payments, email, hosting, and analytics. Their terms may apply to those pieces. We’re not responsible for third-party outages outside our control.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Data can be incomplete, stale, or wrong. Don’t rely on ParseAPI as your only check for safety-critical, medical, legal, or life-dependent decisions without your own verification.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ParseAPI and its operators won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.
You’ll defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the API, your content, or your violation of these terms — except to the extent we caused the problem.
You can cancel paid plans from the dashboard (or by contacting support). You can stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail payment, or create risk for the platform. Sections that should survive (liability, indemnity, IP, etc.) do.
We may update these terms. We’ll bump the date at the top when we do. Material changes may also be called out by email or in the dashboard. Keeping using the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
